Tel Aviv-based doubleAI has launched Maxwell, a model built to optimize software code and produce mathematical proofs. The company is run by Mobileye co-founder Amnon Shashua and has raised $220 million from backers including Nvidia and Dell.

Vercel has added DeepSeek V4.1 Flash, using its latest 1017 weights, to Token Pass alongside Kimi K3 and GLM 5.3. Token Pass is a $30-a-month subscription for Pro teams that includes $80 of monthly credit through AI Gateway and works with coding agents such as Cline or Pi.
Nace AI has released Drex Max, a decision model that reads text and screenshots and returns calibrated probabilities for computer-use agents. The company reports a score of 67.59 on Decision Index 0.3.2, at $0.06 per million input tokens.
On Artificial Analysis's index, Meta's Muse Spark Open scores 39 against 38 for the Mistral Large 4 preview, which still wins five of ten tests, including Terminal-Bench and AutomationBench. Large 4 generates far more tokens to run the index and costs more at launch pricing; Muse's licence restricts large-scale resale, while Large 4's licence is unpublished and its weights are promised by October 31.
Inception has released Mercury 3, a diffusion-based language model it says generates 1,068 tokens per second with a 1-million-token context window. In Inception's own comparison, it beats GPT-6 Luna and Claude Haiku 5.5 on 8 of 12 benchmarks.
